Alnylam Is Employee-Driven

“Change the world” kind of people tend to have a lot of good ideas, and a lot of passion for those good ideas. We love that and empower our employees to bring those ideas to life, within both Alnylam and our communities, through Employee Resource Networks (ERNs) or other types of employee-led groups.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion are integral to Alnylam, and this group is where we learn about and foster cultural differences.

The Green Team is made up of a dedicated group of employees who are passionate about the preservation and protection of the planet.

iTHRIVE: Women@Alnylam aims to foster a culture where women are inspired and empowered to advance their careers and develop to their desired potential.

The Sexuality & Gender Alliance provides a platform for our LGBTQIA+ employees to build community and host educational and celebratory events to ensure equality and to provide advocacy.

ULearn with Alnylam is dedicated to education outreach and mentorship. Our mission is to activate and leverage our employees' expertise, to bring science education to underserved/underrepresented communities and inspire the next generation of scientific leaders and innovators.

SHADES fosters connection, professional development, mentoring, and leadership opportunities while focusing on the recruitment, retention, development, advancement, and self-care of Black, Brown, Indigenous, Multicultural, People of Color, and allies. SHADES is made up of three subcommittees: Global Black Initiative (GBI), Armonía, and InspirASIAN.

Parenting Together at Alnylam (PTA) is focused on establishing a community to promote a family-inclusive culture and organization, serving as a resource for parents and caregivers to share learnings and insights, and providing support to employees as they balance work and life. PTA's subcommittee, Caring for Parents Together at Alnylam (cPTA), supports those who are caring for parents or older loved ones.
